Part 2 Chapter 2: Reunion Lee I'm running as fast as I can, but the fact that I can't feel my heart beating in my chest throws me off. The beast is right behind me, and catching up, too. I cry out as it takes its enormous paw and easily swats me off of my feet. I'm sent hurtling towards a small outcropping of rocks. I hit with full force and "pain" rockets through my demon-attired body, except I feel only a slight tingle. I never liked video games, I think bitterly, and now I know why. All of my senses are messed up and I hate it. I can hear, but I can't at the same time. I can breath, but I'm inhaling nothing. I can't even smell at all.
